Want to know what customers, competitors and staff are saying about you on social networks? Need to save time on your social media monitoring? This course will give you practical steps to set up a free tool to monitor your brands online.

Afternoon Session 1: Facebook Tips and Secrets for Business

Perhaps you use Facebook for personal use, and have added friends and family but are youusing the full power of Facebook for your Business? Perfect for Corporate, Small Business or the Hobbyist, this seminar shows you the power of Facebook for creating lists, advertising, managing Business Pages, and building your social network how you want to use it.

Afternoon Session 2: Social Media Website or Social Media Press Room (you choose)

Building a social media website, blog, shopping site using free tools. Learn how to integrateFacebook and Twitter into your website and your overall strategy. The site can either be used for Press Releases alongside a traditional website OR replace your main site as a business shopping social portal. You’ll be given time to explore the option you prefer.

Course Agenda

We cover the basics of the service and then use the computers to gain hands on practical use of Google Plus for both Personal but mainly Business use, which the student can continue to use after the course. This is a very intensive course on the world’s fastest growing social network from Google. Computer access is restricted to 12 people so places are limited in this course.

Google Plus reached 49 million members (Dec 2011) in only a few months! And more interestingly, Google Plus is set to reach 400 million members during 2012. Facebook has around 800 million members - why not spend an afternoon learning about Google Plus?

  • Why not grab your Google Plus Business Page before someone else does! Perhaps you have a Facebook Page? What is the difference between the Facebook Business Page and a Google Business Page? Set up a Google Plus Business Page.
  • Investigate security and privacy, Circles and distribution of information. Many features on Google Plus are similar to Facebook. But the privacy and circles of distribution are different enough for marketers and business people to ask: how can I reach and engage with my audience on Google in an effective way? Set up Circles and Sparks
  • Use Google Plus for identifying Leads and using analytics. Perhaps the biggest threat and opportunity with Google Plus is how it will change search online.
